Our Next Move

Forgive me for not regularly posting on my blog site, but life in Seattle has been busy since I've returned from Italy.  Since Chuck and I are soon off to a new adventure, I hope to be more consistent with posting on this site as to update our friends and family.  

We will be driving down to San Diego May 6th as Chuck will be starting a new job with Hamilton Sundstrand, an aerospace company on May 11th.   Our application for an apartment was accepted and will be staying two months in a studio apartment nearby Chuck's work until we explore the neighborhoods and find one we like to settle in. 

I have submitted my resume to a traveling therapy agency, Jackson Therapy Partners, and they have positions available in the San Diego area.  I am interested in a traveling position as they offer free housing, good benefits, and will also pay for fees for a California license.

In order for me to practice physical therapy in California, I have to apply for a license and heard it could take a few months to process.  It would be nice to have a few months off to relax and explore the city!!  Anyways, I am still thinking about doing per diem or agency so I can work short term in different facilities to find one that I like on a more permanent basis.  

Well, I'll be updating this blog site as I'm now not an american girl in Italy but now a girl in San Diego!
